Pastoral/Spiritual/Leaders Code of Conduct
Pastoral / Spiritual Leaders Standards:
1. Agents of Healing & Redemption (Acts 20:28) - Pastors / Spiritual Leaders are representatives of God, the Church, and the Tres Dias movement, and as such are to be agents of truth, healing, and redemption in the name of Christ.
2. Appropriate Boundaries (Ephesians 5:1-4) - Pastors / Spiritual Leaders accept and assume the full burden of responsibility to define and maintain clear appropriate boundaries within their relationships.
3. Responsibility (James 4:7) - Pastors / Spiritual Leaders are aware of their calling as servants of Jesus Christ, and from that they accept their responsibility to people entrusted in their care, especially concerning perceptions of inappropriate words, behaviors, and actions.
4. Accountability (James 5:16) - Pastors / Spiritual leaders will fully engage in their own regular personal accountability with an individual and/or appropriate group.
5. Trust, Power, & Authority (1st Peter 5:1-3) - Pastors / Spiritual Leaders are aware that a leader’s moral indiscretions, exploitation, and/or manipulation (in person, written, electronic form, or any other means) is an abuse of trust, power, and authority of a leadership position.
6. Effect & Outcome (Galatians 6:8) - Pastors / Spiritual Leaders understand that any words, actions, or behaviors inconsistent with this Code of Conduct can result in their removal from participating in all Tres Dias related functions.
